What courses will my student take?
Summit Virtual Academy uses courses from www.k12.com. Courses are aligned to the same learning standards as all NTPS schools.
Summit students participate in live Base Camp classes five days a week to connect with a teacher advisor. In addition to academic and social-emotional coursework, students will build a relationship with an anchor adult who oversees their progress at Summit and holds monthly progress meetings.
What instructional materials are provided?
Each student will be issued an account to login to access their coursework. All required textbooks and course materials are provided and mailed directly to the student. Students are issued a Chromebook, and if needed, a Wi-Fi hotspot.
